With 50.9% increase, February is the month with the highest opening record of companies in history

The Espírito Santo Commercial Board (Jucees) registered, in February, a total of 2,684 new companies. The number represents an increase of 50.9% compared to the same period of 2024, being the largest in the entire historical series, since 2014, both in percentage and absolute numbers. The results come in the wake of recurring records since last year.  Among the municipalities that opened the most companies in Jucees are Vitória, with 531 constitutions; Vila Velha, with 452; and Serra, with 307.
Limited business companies pull the line with 88.4% of the openings, in relation to the legal nature, followed by individual entrepreneur, with 253, and anonymous company, with 50.
